We had a new motor and an optimistic outlook for the event. The new motor performed great and we finsished 3rd in the 1st qualifying heat race. We started the feature on the pole and stayed in the top pack until being turned by another compeitor. That put us to the back and we worked our way up through. Lap 20, we were once again involved in a wreck that broke a brake caliper mount. This caused us to have no brakes and we were forced to retire from the race and finished 12th overall.
